Astrology: Earth Planets Temper Aries Prominence

                                Transits & Houses
Mercury, as well as Mars, is now in Taurus, which means the general atmosphere is more stable for now, even though the Sun and two planets are still in Aries, saying "do it now" and causing angry flare-ups.
It helps to know where these transits are in your own chart. If Aries is in your natal first house (the self), you are most likely a go-getter anyway. If Uranus in Aries is transiting this house, you may be feeling internal pressure and impatience, and there could be sudden changes in you physically or emotionally -- possibly positive. (You could begin to eat healthier, or to exercise.) Take advantage of all the extra Aries energy to get things done (and/or to run, work out, or dance).
But if Uranus in Aries is in your natal seventh house, it could affect your relationship suddenly. Be more careful than usual to communicate to avoid conflict.
In case you don't know this, the first house is 9:00 on your chart, the seventh house is 3:00. (The symbol for Aries is adjacent the Sun and the symbol for Taurus - adjacent Mercury in the small chart on the right side of this blog.)
Remember that, with several planets still in Aries, a great deal can be accomplished as long as we remember to breathe and to pace ourselves under pressure.

Astrology: Five Aries: Action, Anger, Electronic Glitches

                                 Greek God of War
I was just inspired to write a new post on Donald Trump's chart when I suddenly realized that the Moon (emotion) is now in Aries, joining the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus. That's now 5 Aries transits (fire 5 times + Sagittarius Saturn = 6 fire) Don't be surprised if you feel tense.
Depending on the rest of your chart, I would advise even greater care than I urged last week. Drivers will probably be racing with or passing you. And road rage could be extreme.
In general, tempers will flare in seconds.  And people will want you to do things now.
The good part is, as I've mentioned before, Aries is action. You may accomplish more than you expected and have more energy. Things will happen fast.
With Libra's airy energy also present and Neptune (illusion, confusion) still in Pisces, all that Aries could also indicate electronic glitches (like I've been dealing with for months).
Anyhow, take care. There's a lot of drama around.

Happy Spring! Time to Accomplish, but also Relax

Okay, so this is it.  First full day of Spring!
And the Sun is in Aries with 3 other planets. That's a lot of Aries action, a lot of fire, a lot of potential anger.  Plus, Mars (planet of anger) is in Taurus (lovely, earthy, but stubborn).
Check where Aries and Taurus are in your chart (in which house). If it's the 7th, watch for a busy time in your primary relationship, and/or possible anger. Be careful of small flare-ups that could lead to a breakup.
If Taurus is in your 8th house, you might come into money. You might also invest money at this time. Bring something comfortable and beautiful into your environment (even a large candle if you don't have a fireplace), or large comfortable pillows and music that relaxes you.
Do what you can to chill.

St Patrick's Objective - to Unify Competing Beliefs

St. Patrick went to Ireland to Unite Pagans & Christians

Ireland was seen as the Wild West, even into the 1800s. So when you went there as a missionary, you knew what you were getting into. Ireland was seen as a group of people not worth saving, and Patrick wouldn’t stamp out their culture. His mission was to bridge the gap between pagans and Christianity, to endow pre-existing pagan theologies with meaning. He established a relationship of reverence and respect which the Celtic people ultimately returned.

Giving the eucharist to a werewolf is totally above board, as long as the werewolf hasn't been divorced and remarried.

Moon in Scorpio: Danger, Subterfuge vs. Evolved Interactions

"Moon in Scorpio can produce dramatic events although this moon transit can also represent subterfuge, significant events not apparent on the surface.  Continued reserve is advisable. However, things will begin to transform in the next day or so as the Moon moves into the lighter sign of Sagittarius."
               *******************
"Cars have been weaving through lanes perilously close, cutting others off, then speeding into the distance, narrowly missing other cars, SUV's, trucks, even pedestrians.
"Oh," I thought.  "The moon must be in Scorpio."  So I looked, and it was and is.
When the moon is full, doctors and nurses complain about emergency rooms.  Moon in Scorpio is similar.  The result is recklessness. Look everywhere when you're driving as well as walking. Try not to be distracted. And, again, in all things, slow down.
      But there's more.
Moon in Scorpio is manipulation.  It is others taking out their anger on us. What is hidden is revealed.
All of this is particularly true now when the continuing Uranus-Pluto square is exact."
                              **************
Above are two of several Moon in Scorpio posts I've written for this blog.  Right now, the Moon is in Scorpio again. You never know what's going to happen when the Moon floats through Scorpio (who can sting like a Scorpion; or fly like an eagle). If you're interested in more about this and Scorpio in general, type Moon Scorpio in the left Search sidebar on this blog, or check out Moon Posts listings (right sidebar).

Enjoy Pisces Mystery; Prepare for Aries' Rollercoaster

Lovely Pisces prevails - for now. The Sun is in Pisces, conjunct Mercury in Pisces, conjunct Neptune in Pisces. So even though there are 3 Aries planets (very different energy) also transiting, Pisces' spiritual, otherworldly nature helps calm and lift the angry energy I've been posting about.  Pisces is creative, like I've said. It helps us tune into solutions that are otherwise just out of reach when we get caught up in Aries' drama.
I've always been cautious of Aries, in part because I had an Aries mother. She moved as fast as the Roadrunner. She was a beautiful whirlwind of productive energy, climbing to the ceiling to install a curtain rod one minute, then zooming to another floor to design a dress the next, so that everything she touched got finished so fast, I could never keep up.  No one could.  My friends always watched, amazed.
But when she got angry, she became a windstorm. So I tried to stay out of her way and spent a lot of time on other floors, in other rooms creating thngs, or in trees.
Fortunately, she also had Pisces in her chart, and the creative mind of Mercury in Pisces. Sign of an artist - from oil painter to musician.  And like Pisces, she was so in touch with the natural world and it's mystery, beauty, and danger, it was as if she was part of it.
So it's a good time to channel the energy of Pisces because by next week, Mercury will join the other Aries planets, and the following week, the Sun will be there too. Fortunately, Mars (action. anger) will egress to Taurus in a few days, which will help ground us while Aries zings around, accomplishing things, upsetting placidity, and stirring up anger.
