Outer Planet Transit Uranus in Aries
When a client and her husband endured a difficult divorce, she had to move suddenly.
They handled the divorce well, but this life change and the abruptness of the move were hard on her.
In her chart, Pluto had been transiting her 4th house (home) Capricorn. In other words, Pluto had been literally disrupting and ultimately transforming her 4th house. Concurrently, Uranus was transiting her 7th -- sudden relationship change. The sudden nature of Uranus can be shocking to most of us. But her strong earth (Capricorn planets and Virgo rising) helped cushion some of the blows that would leave another individual with fewer(or no) earth signs reeling.
However, she does have Moon in sensitive Pisces. Because of all her earth planets, she rarely cries, although Pisces Moon indicates a person who needs to cry after an Uranus trauma.
She also needed to go with the flow, the direction in which the trauma was leading. Instead, she tended to drive herself, working excessively, washing her car, scrubbing floors, mowing lawns, spending hours picking basil, making pesto, redecorating, etc. although she was simultaneously required to work overtime.
This, given her strong Pluto and Uranus disruptions, can adversely affect health. During turbulent times, people need to slow down. But because her Pisces Moon is ruled by Neptune, she is impressionable, especially when traumatized and run-down. Her easily influenced moon, along with several air planets, including Aquarius, made her vulnerable to a cult-like group and being engulfed by propaganda, unable, in her traumatized state of mind, to discern the motives or viability of group members and leaders..
Fortunately, her natal Virgo rising, as well as strong Capricorn planets, grounded her and gave her strength. But the strength turned into hardened conviction about the beliefs of the cult members she turned to, trying to cope with discouragement about her life.
When reeling from trauma, the wisest action is to turn within, and to wait before making major decisions. Many philosophers and exalted spiritual beings have advised this as well as cautioned against running in desperation to those people and groups who require considerable financial investment to join their fold.
Pluto and Uranus move slowly because they are outer planets, so such transits take longer than those of closer planets like Mars, Venus and Mercury. We all need to slow down, take care of ourselves, and find inner wisdom, not outer propaganda, during planetary changes of great magnitude.
