Leo-Scorpio Ignite Chaos

The moon is currently in Scorpio, which is usually intense (either positively (Scorpio symbol - the eagle) or negative (Scorpio symbol the Scorpion). Beware angry people and reckless or road rage drivers, as well as power struggles, particularly with Saturn still in Scorpio.
Saturn means holding the line when others try to step over it.  This is particularly important because flamboyant Leo is still dominating the sky (see previous August 16th post).
Sometimes the only solution is to detach. Escape if you can.  Find shelter where you can.
Imagine rising like an eagle high above drama.

Astrology: Scorpio Moon -- Watch Out

Cars have been weaving through lanes perilously close, cutting others off, then speeding into the distance, narrowly missing other cars, SUV's, trucks, even pedestrians.
"Oh," I thought.  "The moon must be in Scorpio."  So I looked, and it was and is.
When the moon is full, doctors and nurses complain about emergency rooms.  Moon in Scorpio is similar.  The result is recklessness. Look everywhere when you're driving as well as walking. Try not to be distracted. And, again, in all things, slow down.
      But there's more.
Moon in Scorpio is manipulation.  It is others taking out their anger on us. What is hidden is revealed.
All of this is particularly true now when the continuing Uranus-Pluto square is exact, and again, several planets are in Gemini.  So in addition to the Scorpio intensity, all this Gemini adds lots of action, considerable haste and confusion.
Soon the moon will move into Sagittarius, mitigating the danger. But wait a day or so for the intensity to pass. In the meantime, be careful.

Paradox of Western Yuletide, Moon Scorpio, Psyche Calling us Within to dreams, recurring images

While most Westerners are rushing around during the holiday season, the current transiting Moon in Scorpio is calling us within, eliciting powerful emotional responses to external events. This moon position is less likely to take the form of acting out, but of control and deep inner transformation. Carl Jung, psychologist disciple of Freud, pioneered traveling inward to follow each of our unique individual symbols, which will initiate understanding, and ultimately, change. He postulated that this delving into the interior of ourselves, which we often ignore (the workings of the subconscious), through exploring our dreams and recurring images, can literally heal what has been broken in ourselves, and eventually, the world.
The moon in Scorpio can also initiate powerful external circumstances: This is not a time to be playful with feelings or events.
As the scales of justice continue to attempt balance in the world, so it is within us to continually move inward, striving for balance between revolution and rest, momentum forward and then - stepping back through reflection and turning within.
In Greek mythology, numerous obstacles often deterred Psyche on her long quest (heroine's journey), and compelled stopping temporarily (symbolic of going within).
