Astrology: Virgo's Intelligence Vies With Personal and Global Crises

Virgo, planet of intelligence, details, and health wisdom, is the major transit of this New Moon. The Sun and Mercury, as well as New Moon, are all in Virgo.
Globally, it is significant because Virgo brings quiet knowledge to the presently convening summit in Russia.  And we need this kind of non-boisterous intelligence to calmly survey the chaos around us.  But the caveat is as long as the discussion doesn't dissolve in details. The sky, otherwise, is a pressure-cooker dominated by oppositions and squares and some hard planets, as well as stern Saturn in Scorpio and unpredictable Uranus in Aries. And all this Virgo (earth) could be severely critical, or at its best, mastermind organization and natural healing.
Virgo is detailed, and the possibility is that the hope of any positive resolution could dissolve in details. This pertains to our personal lives as well.  Everyone needs to be careful to try not to be overwhelmed by trying to attend to the numerous, often difficult details of our individual lives. It helps to look at the big picture: What do we want and what are two or three steps to move us toward balance (Virgo) and happiness (Jupiter) with the enthusiasm of Mars in Leo.

It is a difficult time of oppositions between outer planets.  Neptune in Pisces opposing the Virgo transits could cause confusion and propel the dissolution of plans or, at the best (although less likely) create new solutions. Uranus in Aries could cause sudden changes or tumult as it continues to oppose Pluto in Cancer.  There is considerable tension in the air with Mars in Leo square Saturn in Scorpio.
But there is hope if the genius of Uranus can ally with the positive aspects of Saturn (a planet which has made great leaders of the gifts of many).
Follow the steps for creating a new moon intention. Stop for a moment to toss seeds of intention into the night ground, preparing for the future you want. Seek out water, nature, solitude when overwhelmed.
