Astrology: Emotional Release, Harmony, Buoyancy

Water has become a magnet for investors. Planets like Mars illustrate that without water there can be no life as we know it.  People who do not live near water have the back-breaking work of lugging jugs of water daily unless they have received the genius of new as well as old technologies for efficient delivery of water from its source.  What does this have to do with astrology?  As we increase our understanding of our own and other planets, we realize how crucial the balance is between water, air, fire and earth. We know that the elements that sustain life when thrown out of balance, can severely affect our world and lives.
     Looking at astrology, five planets are currently in water signs, and, in addition, the moon is in Pisces.  This much water can make us feel like we're drowning -- in emotion, even depression or ennui.  Yet it is the water element that brings us intuition: spiritual insight and dreams that can wake us in the night with answers to our problems. And all this water in different signs means more than one beneficial trine bringing us harmony as well as the opportunity for emotional release, either by communicating, or through writing and music.
    But with Venus now in the fire sign Leo, passion, exuberance, and energy can help if we let its buoyancy lift our spirits.  And within the next couple of days, the moon will have moved into firey Aries, adding additional spark. This fire combined with the abundance of water can either move us toward our goals or make us feel drenched -- like rain on a campfire. One answer is to concentrate on the positive aspects of water, getting intuitive insights, meditating, creating, swimming, relaxing, and when we need release -- crying.  From this positive perspective, it is easier to move toward your goals with the motivation of Venus in confident Leo.
