Capricorn energy fills the atmosphere. This is not hyper, wild celebratory energy, but grounding, calming things down. It is reserve. Be careful about hesitating too long if there is someone you want to meet.
Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) is not necessarily a partying, happy New Year sign. It can make those who are impoverished feel even more so, and those who are well and happy -- somewhat less enthusiastic than usual. Some might be more concerned with what they wear and how they appear, and more preoccupied with whether the person they meet tonight is successful rather than an overall good match.
