All summer I've been watching brilliant, golden Jupiter move from east to west in the southern sky.
It will meet Venus on the 27th with Mercury nearby.
The sky has changed since ancient,wise ancestors first plotted the course of planets, and began to make predictions, which led to astrology. There isn't always a match between astronomy and astrology (and conjunctions (and other aspects) aligning in the same sign (or constellation), in this case Virgo).
But this time, Jupiter and Venus will conjunct in Virgo astronomically and astrologically. It will be a vision on a clear night.
Like other ancient philosophical "sciences," (Chinese medicine, I Ching, Yoga), ancient calculations are often more accurate than skeptics will allow.
