I've never believed in ghosts. But recently, something strange happened: something I've never experienced before.
It made me think of a woman I've known for years who has been devastated since she lost her husband in a motorcycle accident. She now believes he is a spirit who advises her daily. Until this tragedy, she was skittish and troubled by anything like this.
Although I've had many metaphysical experiences, daily contact with the departed is not one of them. (I only experience when they're passing, or have recently passed. But that's several stories.)
Anyhow, I can best describe what happened recently as a commotion of energy. Doors began to move back and forth, and at times, open and close -- although there was no air movement that could explain this. Then objects began falling when no one was nearby, and it felt as if there was a distinct presence when no one was around.
I remembered how a fellow intuitive used to clap to change energy. So I clapped once and said, "Go to the light." I did this twice over a couple of days, and everything went back to normal.
Then I learned that just before the strange commotion began, an extraordinary friend had suddenly died.
It was his way of saying "goodbye."
