Astrology: Pistorius & Steenkamp

The astrological charts of Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp reveal clashing, dangerous aspects that ultimately led to the fatal shooting February 2013. Their Suns (hers 25 degree Leo, his 28 Scorpio) are square, their Mars (temper, anger) are opposed, and her lucky Jupiter in Sagittarius is square his Mars.
Her personality would have been outgoing (Leo, Sagittarius, Libra planets) and organized (Moon in Capricorn, Mercury and Venus in Virgo).  Her chart had such positive planets, it seemed blessed (with the exception of Saturn conjunct Pluto, both squaring Mars -- dangerous aspects).
Pistorius' chart, on the other hand, has the Sun, Mercury and Venus all in Scorpio, which would make him strong, deep and possessive. His Jupiter in Pisces (yet another water planet) means a lot of emotion, possibly confusing his perception at times. This could have easily led him to feel insecure about the relationship and, therefore, jealous. The water planets would have made him more likely to hold his feelings inside, and then with Scorpio intensity, explode with anger.

The media has given Reeva's solid qualities little attention, emphasizing instead her breathtaking beauty, and therefore objectifying her.  Not stressed are her law degree, plans to pass the exam and begin to practice law within a few years, that much of her life had been sheltered, and that she was an advocate for non-violence against women. The Virgo in her chart is clear.
Because he has overcome great disability, Pistorius stirs in the public mind there  considerable sympathy for Pistorius and a willingness to believe that he mistook her for an intruder. On the other hand, there seems to be little sympathy for the victim: perhaps because she was "too beautiful," "too lucky" and "free-spirited," (or appeared to be -- as would anyone with as strong a Sagittarius chart as hers) - a free-spiritedness that would have unnerved possessive (possibly insecure) Pistorius."
In Reeva's chart, both Saturn and Pluto conjunct, square Mars, which some astrologers are claiming indicates a violent person. It is said she brought this on.  I would beg to differ.
Instead, her chart indicates a person who would attract violence -- not a violent person.  She had mentioned her fear of him in more than one email.* (Gavin de Becker's book The Gift of Fear gives numerous examples of women who ignore their fear instinct, distrusting it in favor of sympathy and attempts to be helpful, which often costs them their lives.)
A chart with as much fire as hers (Leo as well as Sagittarius), describes someone enthusiastic, energetic, fun-loving.  But she also had Virgo, which grounded her and gave her organization, self-control, and when needed -- reserve. When backed into a corner, she would have tried to reason a way out. This is most likely what she was doing at the time she was shot.  She would not have realized this would push someone as explosive as Pistorius' (strong Scorpio square Mars) over the edge.
In the year and a quarter since the shooting, the focus has been on whether the horrific crime was an accident rather than on the many nuances that point to murder.
Frequently overlooked are the fact that Reeva was standing (not sitting) and apparently talking to Pistorius at the time he shot her, that it could not have been so dark in the room that Pistorius would not have been able to see his way around, and therefore, notice her absence from the bed when he reached for his gun beneath the bed (or on a table beside it), that there is a discrepancy in his account of retrieving a fan from the porch, and that neighbors heard a long argument before the shooting.
