Astrologers often make dire predictions based on a client's progressed chart, or aspects to the birth chart. Some clients take it in stride: "As information," said one friend whose father did readings. But others often feel trapped, even frightened by their chart aspects and progressions. This makes me wonder what the point is of knowing your aspects and progressions. Astrology, when used as a guide, can be helpful in understanding yourself and your life, including the best path to take out of the maze we sometimes find ourselves in. It is a guideline, a rough blueprint, not set in stone. It can help you set your course. It's not meant to terrify or make you think you have no options until certain transits have passed. Think of it as another tool to empower yourself.
